In Alameda, a former classic craftsman had been hastily renovated to close off the original dining room for a bedroom, which took the most valuable real estate in the home. In rethinking the layout, we brought back the dining room, opened up the kitchen, and created new access to the yard on this corner lot. Custom built-in shelving and benches restore classic details, while a colorful kitchen bring the home into modern living. A small bathroom was also renovated with classic details in mind.
